"New" is definitely the driving theme of the 1982 line-up. Several of the masks that debuted here would remain in the line-up for most of the decade and would become the Don Post classics of the 80's.
Some of these new masks include the 800 Line Razooly and Peter...
The entire 950 line (which consisted of 6 masks) were introduced in the 82 catalog. These were obviously inspired and designed to compete with the Be Something Studios masks being released at the time...
Other newbies included the 900 line Medusa, Big Top, Aesop, and Fearless Leader...
The 1000 line Merlin, Wizard, Quasimodo, Neanderthal, green Phantom, 1100 line Werewolf and Yeti, 2000 line Sygenor were also new additions to the line-up...
I did Not like the use of the "Metallic" paints used on some masks in this line.... At the time I often received the same comment from others ...I remember the "Peter" mask looked pretty creepy starring out of the box at me...LoL
