Unimart Monster Daze Promos

National Enquirer Horrors!

This wonderfully set up shot appeared in the National Enquirer back on August 16th 1988. There's a wide range of independent artist monster mask goodness pictured, including many Halloween Society pieces. Other assorted critters include a handful of screen-used creatures, and even a few Don Post Studios gems. Despite the caption, not all of these masks belonged to Forry. In fact, four of these masks resided in the Maskahuna's collection...

The Yellow Phantom was fortunate enough to have received the gift of rubber from Santa Claws in the form of this bitchin' Atomic Vomit "Wretch-Ed" monster mask. It's totally wearable, and the colors are killer...

Weeny Witch Cut-Out Masks

The Weeny Witch Cut-Out masks were published as part of the promotional Party Books for vendors of skinless frankfurters. From what I have found, these booklets were published between 1952-54.
