By 1995, Don Post Studios was in charge of all the development of the masks and costumes for The Great Cover Up. The style of the masks closely mirrored that of the 1995 DPS line-up. In addition, there are a handful of reissues of older DPS masks sprinkled throughout the pages including an interesting appearance of the late 70's glow ghoul "Mortimer" on page 14...

1992 (Fall) Great Cover Up Catalog

The final day of the Great Cover Up catalog week belongs to the 1992 Fall catalog. This catalog builds a bridge to previously posted GCU catalogs within the Monster Mask Catalog Archive. Fear not fans of the Great Cover Up, for today's post does not represent the end. Your pal the Yellow Phantom still has another seven GCU catalogs which will eventually be posted. Here's hoping all you creeps have enjoyed the past week's retrospective of the the Great Cover Up!

1992 Great Cover Up Catalog

Day six of the Great Cover Up catalog week features the 1992 catalog. As stated in yesterday's post, Don Post Studios was doing all the development for the GCU at this point in time, and the influence of the sculptors who were working for DPS can be seen in most of the masks. Even the design of this catalog has a similar vibe to the of the 92 Don Post Catalog.
