Your ol' pal the Yellow Phantom is a serious sucker for vintage Halloween commercials. As we have now officially moved into the Fall season, I plan to post some of these television spots now and again up until Halloween.
This commercial from J&S Smoke Shop Halloween Costumes features a nice variety of classic Don Post Studios masks including Tor Johnson, Uncle Creepy, and the Demon. A Be Something Studios Executioner mask makes an appearance as well. Although it is listed as (1988) in the title, the masks that appear within suggest it may have been made as much as a decade an earlier.
This 3/4 display mask, which is based on the cover artwork of Chamber of Chills #19, will be available exclusively through Collector Supreme and will be limited to just 25 glow in the dark copies and 50 non-glow copies.

Continuing on with this week's theme of posting updates on recent goings on in the studio, Aaron Lewis and myself released the newest Super Masks from Rock Bottom Novelties a few weeks ago. The new releases included the Super Creep (Super Mask #4) and the Super Space Wizard (Super Mask #5). A limited supply of both are still available in the Rock Bottom Shop.

I made the "Dead Head II" back in 1997, and it is the oldest mold that I have at the Devil's Workshop. It's a tradition for me to make one "one-off" for any convention that I set up at, and this year was no different. The 2021VSC edition featured tri-colored hair.

Heya you latex loving creeps! Wowzers, it's been a crazy few weeks here as we are right in the middle of the busiest time of the year for any mask maker. New posting will resume next week after I get back into town from a small getaway to the Hukilau convention this weekend. I'll recap all the goings on including the Devil's Workshop Virtual Studio Convention, the new Rock Bottom Novelties releases, the new DW25 releases, and the collaboration I worked on for the upcoming Chamber of Chills Ghost Girl release.
