Gahan Wilson's monthly, full-pg Slayboy cartoons were truly tasty, funny & special at their peak. (This one I suppose dates to 60s or 70s?) Having not cracked one of those for years, I have no idea if he still contributes there, but I do know he has irregular slots in the New Yorker -- 1/4-pg B/W. They just don't have that illustration or comedy magic any more, unfortunately. And these days there are a ton of younger artists out there harnessing that same sensibility; back in the day he was something of a pioneer.
