R.I.P. Flattus Maximus

GWAR guitarist Flattus Maximus (Cory Smoot), who was 34, was found dead on the band's tour bus yesterday. GWAR, the longest rocking monster mask band around, will apparently continue on the tour. I was fortunate enough to have seen GWAR on a few occassions back in the band's heyday in '94 & '95, and the show they put on was absolutely out of this world. GWAR fans everywhere will indeed miss Flattus Maximus.

    This is a huge drag.. GWAR is awesome. Cory and my kid are both endorsed by Schecter guitars..My son dug him alot. Glad you blogged this. R.I.P. Flattus Maximus.
