Don Post Studios Munster Masks

Both economy and  deluxe versions of the Munsters masks were released by Don Post Studios around 1964-65. According to David Lady's Guide to Movie Monster Masks these were available from the mid 60's and into the 70's. Here are a few various ads that I have yet to post here of the economy versions as well as the official Herman Munster Headpiece...

Don Con

Lovers of latex and headhunters alike, incredible news was announced today... Don Post Studios Article - Questar Feb. 1980

During a period from November 1979 to August 1980, Questar magazine ran four "Close-Up" articles about Don Post Studios.  Although the article in today's post is titled "Part-One" in the series, the article posted a few days ago is actually the first and serves as an introduction to the series. The full audio recordings of the interviews conducted by Dr. Jeffrey Elliot for these articles with Don Post Sr, and Don Post Jr can be heard on Matt Post's YouTube page.
