The Masks of Goosebump's "The Haunted Mask"

The Haunted Mask was the 11th of R.L. Stine's Goosebump book series, and the was adapted for television where it first aired on October 27th 1995.

Aside from the amazing array of monster masks, the episode itself embodies so much of the magic make Halloween such a wonderful holiday! It's absolutely among my personal favorite Halloween themed television episodes of all time.

The episode opens with close-ups of these wicked masks...

The episode featured this creepy old school novelty shop and multitude of monster mask shots...

  1. I've been looking for a reason to check out the Goosebumps series for a long time . . . now you've gone and given me one!

  2. "It's the mask. The mask made me do it." Great episode!
Seeing all those masks through the shop's window is like a kid in a candy store.

  3. I used to love this episode! I was a huge goosebumps fan, and some of the movies terrified me! I was completely fascinated my these masks however, and I still am. :)

Thank you so much for posting!

  4. Have you ever thought of doing replicas of the masks featured in this episode?

  5. Hi Daniel,

Yes, I have definitely considered doing replicas of these masks, but I probably never will. There are too many other talented artists that have taken on the task.
