Don Post Universal Monster Mask Ad - Creepy #2

This afternoon I had some fun flipping through the first few issues of Creepy, which was not only my favorite horror comics as a kid, but my favorite Warren publication growing up in the late 70's and early 80's. So, it's always a treat to revisit these, especially the early issues which I wasn't exposed to until much later in life.

As with the Famous Monsters of Filmland mags of this era, there are some truly classic monster mask ads buried in the later pages with the other Captain Company ads. Today's journey through the first ten issues of Creepy are the inspiration for these posts. Creepy #1 had no monster mask ads, but issue #2 features an excellent full page of six Universal Monsters and three Munster masks.
