2003 Don Post Studios Catalog - Part 1

This is the 201st post here on the Blood Curdling Blog of Monster Masks tagged with "Don Post Studios".  Much like the 200th post, I thought it appropriate to feature a catalog. This 2003 Don Post Studios catalog had a heavy focus on original designs. The Rob Zombie and Ed "Big Daddy" Roth masks being the featured licenses. Check back for Part 2 featuring the 2003 Illusive Concepts catalog. A big thanks goes out to Matt Post for contributing this catalog...

  3. Always loved Don Post masks, and there are tons I like out there believe me. So many talented mask makers today to choose from these days but there is a special feeling you get when you look at a photo of masks from the bygone days and it brings back memories or even better, finding some to add to your collection that you once had as a Monster Kid then or saved your pennies to buy then or even begged your parents for them but somehow they slipped through the cracks of time. Halloween and Mask fans everywhere are fortunate that there is a place to convene informally and that there is Yellow Phantom out there to "Post" (pun intended) great information both nostalgic and fresh! Thanks YP, great blog.

  4. Hi Thomas, Thank you for all the kind words regarding the blog. For me, a large part of mask collecting, or looking at old vintage photos, is about connecting with a part of the magic of being a kid on Halloween!
