How to Make a Mask - Magazine Article

This article is literally a mystery from the Maskahuna's vault as it's origins are unknown. While I planned to post this back in December, I nearly forgot I had it... until yesterday. It's amazing what treasures pop-up when I clean-up my desktop. The article contains several atmospheric behind-the-scene photos of Don Post Studios. In terms of what magazine articles traditionally offer, this one actually has some nice details about the over all mask making process too. I would have killed for this article when I was a kid...

  1. On the phone, and the person taking notes. That is Don Post, Jr. And his assistant Sharron Armstrong under those masks.

  2. I remember this very vividly from my childhood. I think it is from National Geographic's World Magazine. The photos on the "Making the Mold" spread are burned into my brain from hours of study!

  3. This is awesome! Great stuff, love it!
