Vader Project Ads

There was a lot of buzz and info online about the Vader Project when it went down in 2007, so I'll spare all the details here. But for those that missed out... The Vader Project was a curated traveling show that featured the re-imaging of the iconic Vader helmet by 100 artists in 8 exhibitions that took place in 3 countries. The list of talent involved was staggering and featured some of my favorite designers and underground artists including Gary Basemen, Tim Biskup, and Frank Kozik to name a few.

I'll wrap up this extreme Star Wars bender over the next two days with several of the Vader Project submissions. Here are a few of the promotional ads for the exhibitions stop at the Andy Warhol Museum...

  1. It's really too bad they used the ROTS helmet as the base. I really dig the asymmetry of the original.
